Delta Xi Sigma Alumnae Chapter
The 2019-2020 Sorority Year marks the 45th Chapter Charter Anniversary of the Delta Xi Sigma Chapter.
On March 21, 1975 the Sorority’s International Headquarters granted members Edmonia Borden, Mabel Duffie Bizzell, Edna Alfred Smith, Dolores Humphrey Malone, and Winifred Collin Manning the Delta Xi Sigma Alumnae Chapter Charter in Evanston, Illinois.
Reactivated in the spring of 2010, by members Nichole Boyd, Kandice (Washington) Cole, Daisy Copeland, Brandy Hazzard, and Leslie Hightower-Thomas, the chapter was the 2018 1st place recipient of Central Region's Youth Symposium award, the 2017 1st place recipient of the Central Region's Operation BigBookBag and Project Cradle Care awards, and the 2012 1st place recipient of Central Region’s Rejesta V. Perry award for its monthly Project Reassurance program.

In 2015, Delta Xi Sigma Alumnae Chapter celebrated 40 years since its charter, at a Ruby Anniversary Celebration held at Evanston’s Hilton Orrington. In September 2015, the Delta Xi Sigma Alumnae Chapter hosted the Central Region’s Joint Area Meeting for Areas IV &VI, at the Norris Student Center located on the campus of Northwestern University, the home of the Eta Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
Delta Xi Sigma Chapter partners with Books & Breakfast to implement OPERATION BigBookBag, volunteering as tutors, book buddies, and providing school supplies for children in Evanston/Skokie School District 65. The chapter has supported programming and raised funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, The American Cancer Society's Making Strides Walk, and the March For Babies.
